McGriff appoints Breedlove to national sales and growth leader

CHARLOTTE – McGriff announced today that it has promoted industry veteran Mike Breedlove to National Sales and Growth Leader. In this new role, Mike will set the strategy for overall sales activities across the firm’s commercial lines of business, including property and casualty, group benefits, surety, and its Executive Risk Advisors division.

An industry veteran with more than 35 years of insurance experience, Breedlove most recently served as McGriff’s national director of property & casualty. During this time, Breedlove established the McGriff’s Young Performers Program, a structured coaching and development program for insurance producers getting their start in the industry. The program connects producers representing a diversity of age, geographic location, and industry focus with the aim of accelerating book growth for new insurance producers. Since its launch in 2019, Young Performers has grown to a group of nearly 150 commercial and employee benefits producers and has sustained double-digit growth annually.
