Garrett joins McGriff’s Executive Risk Advisors Group

Houston – McGriff, one of the leading full-service retail insurance brokers in the U.S., announced today it has hired David Garrett as an Executive Vice President and Texas Practice Leader for the firm’s Executive Risk Advisors (ERA) division.

Garrett joins McGriff with more than 20 years of experience as an underwriter and broker working with large multinational companies, primarily in Energy, Power, Real Estate, Retail/Wholesale and Private Equity.  His most recent experience with a large, global insurance broker was managing an executive liability specialty practice with over $400M in premium volume. David has relationships with all major executive liability insurers and has experience in all executive liability lines of coverage, including D&O, Cyber, EPL, Fiduciary, E&O, and other specialty products.

In this new role, Garrett will manage all aspects of McGriff’s Texas ERA practice which includes colleagues in Houston, Dallas, Chicago, and Denver.
