Why work at McGriff?
We believe our teammates are our most valuable asset, making positive impacts on our clients, our firm, and our communities. Those same teammates have powered our evolution into a recognized industry leader.
To attract and retain the most talented and diverse workforce, we focus on financial recognition, giving back to our communities, and fostering an inclusive, energizing work environment where everyone is empowered to learn, grow and have meaningful careers.
Our competitive and comprehensive benefits package includes:
Health insurance, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability and more
Supplemental insurance options, such as accident, critical illness and hospital indemnity
401(k) plan with company match
Generous time off for vacation, sick time, holidays, volunteerism and more
Family care and education benefits through Bright Horizons
One way we give back to our communities is by volunteering our time to serve others. In fact, we provide each of our teammates up to two paid days off a year that can be used specifically for volunteering and community service.
In 2019 alone, McGriff teammates volunteered more than 12,000 hours to help more than 327,000 people in their communities by building houses, working at food banks and soup kitchens, tutoring at-risk students, and more. The organizations we’ve supported include Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Boys and Girls Clubs of America, Habitat for Humanity, Ronald McDonald House Charities, and YMCA/YWCA as well as local area food banks and homeless shelters.
“When an EF-2 tornado touched down in Greensboro, McGriff quickly responded to provide relief for our community. We also made care packages and walked door to door in the hardest hit areas to deliver food and a smiling face to folks who needed it most.”
—Rachel Baldwin, teammate in Greensboro, NC
“In 2019, we turned an abandoned lot into a playground for a children’s outreach center. To see those sweet faces light up and know we left this little corner of our world better was empowering.”
—Tracy Farragut, teammate in Birmingham, AL
“In 2020, we focused on remote, socially distanced activities due to COVID-19. For example, we packed over 750 lunch kits for Kids’ Meals, which delivers lunches to children under age 6 in the Houston area. When we delivered the lunch kits, they expressed how grateful they were for our contribution, since the number of children in their program has nearly doubled during the pandemic. Even when we’re physically distanced, we can still work together to make a difference in our community.”
—Dorie Liucci, teammate in Houston, TX
